As an Entry-Level Paint Process Engineer in the Paint Development program, you will be exposed and rotate around in different positions and assignments in a vehicle assembly paint shop. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of manufacturing and the areas of the paint shop. In each role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously with guidance from supervision. You will develop skills in equipment, tooling, and processes including sequence and flow of operations for the effective utilization of personnel, material, machines, and facilities necessary for production in a fast-paced environment.
As a Paint Process engineer, you will learn problem solving on the fly, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be able to innovate. Assignments will be in a Vehicle Assembly Paint Shop in the United States. Examples of Paint Process Engineering assignments and responsibilities include:
This position requires employees to be on-site on a full-time basis. Job location for this position will be at our Factory Zero plant in Detroit/Hamtramck, MI.
