The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Product Manager Summer Intern to join our fast-paced software development team. This internship offers a hands-on experience in product management in the context of the software for the BrightDrop ecosystem of vehicles and and non-vehicle hardware. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced product managers, engineers, and designers to learn, contribute, and gain valuable insights into the product lifecycle
What You'll Do :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning and development of a software feature or enhancements for the BrightDrop Core software
Conduct market research to identify user needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform software product strategies
Assist in defining and documenting software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
Support the testing and quality assurance process by reviewing software builds, identifying issues, and proposing improvements
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centered approach in software design and functionality
Assist in gathering and analyzing user feedback to iteratively improve software products and features
Required Qualifications:
Pursuit of a MBA or Master's program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Must be graduating between December 2024 - June 2025
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Prior experience with product management, software development, or automotive technology is advantageous
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile methodologies, is a plus
