Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ADAS feature development by defining and configuring technical solution including use cases, system requirement, design, function, behavior and interface definition
  • Work with global team on ADAS feature development and support its rollout in China
  • Lead ADAS feature Benchmarking activity to figure out local ADAS feature enhancement opportunity and collaboration with GMNA on roadmap
  • Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system specifications for local ADAS feature
  • Partner with software, integration, and validation teams to ensure systems designs and technical solutions are communicated and executable
  • Lead to create test scenario for ADAS feature validation on the bench and vehicle
  • Be a technical expert for ADAS feature to support other team's request
  • Join ADAS feature standard working group discussion and bring in GM advocacy
  • Link with GMNA and SGM/PATAC to drive open, candidate discussion and align the ideas/feedback to make good communication
  • Travel as required

    Qualifications

  • 3+ years work experience in ADAS/AD area of automotive
  • Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as AD/ADAS systems, chassis and vehicle dynamics, automotive networks, propulsion, body controls, infotainment (HMI) etc.
  • Knowledge of ADAS feature and benchmarking vehicles in the market
  • Knowledge of Vehicle communication protocol and tools, like CAN/GMLAN/Ethernet/Vehicle Spy/MicroAutobox/ETAS INCA
  • Excellent multi-functional communication skills – be able to get multiple teams moving in the same direction
  • Knowledge of system safety is a plus
  • Education: B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Mechanical Engineering
