Serve as the subject matter expert for Bosch ITS video product line and
video-as-a-sensor solutions for ITS
Represent the Bosch AI technology-based solutions to end users and
Augment the sales function by providing pre and post sales and technical
support to develop full system solutions for our ITS related customer
Provide project-level technical support and site commissioning for the
full portfolio of Bosch ITS products.
Assist and support all sales aspects of the ITS vertical.
Partner with and support Business Development/Account Management
activities. Assist with strategies, implementation, and presentation of
capabilities to the customers and end-users.
Manage the design of solutions in support of the customer. Oversee and
administer training tools, classes, and documentation for ITS end users,
and Value Added Distributors and Value Added Resellers.
In collaboration with regional field engineers, provide field expertise in
troubleshooting product issues. Where necessary, ensure the proper bug
reporting process is followed or RMA return process is followed.
Maintain documentation on field issues and all reported technical support
cases related to ITS product deployments.
Maintain proficiency on products and technology for the Bosch ITS product
and solution portfolio, including product specifications and hardware
Provide technical support and product set-up for trade shows, conferences
and other marketing events as needed.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and perform
technical presentations to a national audience of ITS end users.
Work with the ITS team to develop case studies and white papers of the
successfully completed projects; work with the applications and technical
support groups to receive advanced training in products, and to evaluate
potential solutions to be offered to our customers; work with the Business
Unit to have a clear understanding of product roadmaps, and communicate
back to them findings for new product development or enhancements to
existing product lines.
Work with engineering and product management to improve product hardware
Travel as required to meet customer expectations and ensure proper
field roll-out of new technologies; estimated travel ~60%.
An Associates degree in Engineering preferable; a business related degree
is also desirable.
Minimum 5 years of ITS industry experience and working with customers,
preferably from the manufacturer level.
Ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge and experience in the
design and installation of traffic cabinets, controllers, detection
devices, video cameras, and IP/IT products.
Conversant in data security, IP networking and cyber security experience a
plus. In-depth knowledge and field experience working with network
Industry affiliations and certification a plus; positive demonstrable
leadership and Voice of Customer skills are essential.
Positive, can-do attitude. Experience working with and supporting the
customer at all levels desired.
Must be self starter that can work with minimal direction.
Work well on a team.
~60% travel required.
