Work Arrangement

  • Remote - The position can be performed remotely from the US most of the time, but the employee may be asked to come on-site approximately four times per year.
  • What You'll Do:

  • Assists Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage, administer, and coordinate security activities to ensure compliance with government national industrial security program (NISP) requirements.

  • Oversees security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), NIST 800-171, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), client contracts, and company policies.

  • Maintains Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) and National Industrial Security System (NISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).

  • Processes and maintains personnel security clearances (PCL) end-to-end.

  • Provides security education training and briefings to maintain employees' PCL, FCL, OPSEC and CUI compliance.

  • Processes and manages visit requests as they pertains to classified and CUI handling.

  • Multiple times per day, access the AIMS system to identify new investigation cases and assign for investigation to an investigator, as appropriate.

  • Ensure assigned cases are properly formatted.

  • Coordinate with Special Investigations and Employee Relations Investigations to re-tier cases that were incorrectly tiered to Global Security.

  • Ability to analyze and present data and experience with trend analysis.

  • Additional Description

    Your Skills & Abilities:

  • Current government secret-level security clearance or ability to get a clearance is required.

  • Experience working with a cleared defense contractor or USG program security experience.

  • Thorough understanding of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and DoD security requirements.

  • Experience with DISS, NISS, e-QIP, and SWFT

  • FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification

  • Experience with AIMS or Ethics Point tool preferred.

  • Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is ( $81,000-$129,400). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
