Hybrid - Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of 3 times a week.

About the Role:

Sales Operation Managers provide oversight of the tools, data, and resources to enable the sales team to drive the business. They may be responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. The Sales Operation manager ensures their team purposefully monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts. These managers review company data reports and process market trends to build, lead, change company tactics and increase sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the GM Center of Learning, Brands, CCA and GM Envolve on initiatives that support the training needs of our Field teams and Dealers.
  • Create a training experience for our Field Teams and Dealers that encourages learning and drives a positive customer experience and business results.
  • Ensure top-down training alignment between the DBT, OBS, GM Brands, CCA and GM Envolve where needed.
  • Provide framework for OBS communication plans and messaging that is timely, easy to understand and drives the desired action of any given audience.
  • Provide framework for Go to Market messaging to create Field Team and Dealer deliverables for OBS and new product launches.
  • Manage a Training Lead that creates and delivers training to support the subscription and purchase growth of OBS and new products and services in all Dealer related sales channels.
  • Lead and execute OBS participation in GM Brand Dealer meetings and events throughout the year.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with the GM Envolve/OBS to leverage existing training activities.
  • Work with outside partners (Other OEM's) to develop training and communications that promote the sale of OBS and new products and services.
  • Work Closely with the OnStar Business Solutions Team to identify Field Team Training opportunities.
  • Communicate with Manager, DBT Training & Communications frequently to ensure alignment with overall Training Strategy.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested.
  • Skills Required :

  • Ability to manage projects from strategy development to execution.
  • Ability to clearly articulate the “Why” behind what we are developing & executing.
  • Flexibility to adapt in an environment of changing focus and goals.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Building cross functional relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Additional Description

    Skills Preferred :

  • Fleet & Commercial Experience

  • Experience in producing Sales and Product training materials.

  • Development of electronic training curriculum

  • Training gamification
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Educational Requirements:

  • Four-Year Accredited College Degree preferred but previous professional experience, including active-duty military service, will be considered as an alternative
  • Additional Requirements / Comments:

  • Ability to travel overnight (10-15%)
