The main challenges of the role are:

  • Builds a diverse and effective team by selecting the best talent, handling performance, and providing mentorship / coaching.
  • Manage the culture within their organization, holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors.
  • Work to improve Workplace of Choice environment.
  • Manage warehouse operations to ensure that parts distribution to customers are performed within agreed level of services in terms of timing, cost, and quality. This has direct impact on customer satisfaction and retention, driving revenue and future car buy consideration.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, finance, dealer network and other business partners to attain business goals.
  • Identify potential risks and take necessary corrective actions. Understand GM's goals and strategies relating to overall business, brands, and service.
  • Responsible to drive the implementation of common global processes, policies and ensure compliance with safety, financial, fiscal, environmental, and legal requirements.
  • Responsible to foster the culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing and implementation.

    Responsibilities:

  • Models GM's cultural behaviors and demonstrates the highest level of integrity at all times.
  • Builds and maintains good working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management team
  • Monitors safety and good housekeeping standards
  • Participates and provides input during selection of new employees
  • Monitors daily productivity and quality requirements to achieve customer expectations
  • Communicates effectively with employees, leaders, business partners, and customers
  • Cultivates a safety culture, and implements and enforces workplace safety rules and policies
  • Evaluates team performance, and promotes continuous improvement
  • Achieves quality standards by communicating goals and leveraging resources to solve problems
  • Understands and consistently administers collective bargaining agreements and company policies
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Requirements:

  • University Degree.
  • Experience in Operations Management.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • English Level, advanced
  • Desirable SAP and Warehouse System Knowledge
  • Skills:
