Description

• Assist in developing and maintaining product strategy and roadmap • Grooming product backlog, including prioritizing product enhancements and bugs • Be the voice of the customer; strategizing and implementing a best in-class end-to-end digital experience. This includes guiding creation of prototypes with design teams and performing user testing studies and consumer research. • Participate in testing & validation of product features and releases • Collaborate with cross functional teams to prioritize, develop, launch, and maintain product services • Monitor and drive improvement in key performance metrics • Stay current with infra-tech and upcoming technology enablers • Research competitors and stay current on their overall product strategies and consumer offerings • Ensure product adheres to GM Policies and Procedures by working closely with cross-functional teams including security, legal, privacy, etc.

Additional Description

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of digital product development experience or relevant cross- functional experience
  • Experience documenting product requirements and managing products or projects in the digital domain
  • Strong competency in software platforms
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Business and technical acumen
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills; ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively/present to all levels of the organization and with internal / external partners
  • Self-starting personality with the ability to think strategically, problem solve and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to multi-task between multiple priorities
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government agencies as a supplier an asset

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development methodology

  • Experience and familiarity with GM GCS and OnStar services
  • Knowledge and experience with design thinking process
  • Education and training

  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software, Science or Engineering
  • Master's degree within Business, IT or Software
  • SAFe and/or Product Management certifications
  • Remote - This position does not require the employee to be on-site full- time to perform most effectively. The Employees role enables them to work off- site on a permanent basis.

  • The median level range of salary compensation for this role is $102,105 - $130,000

  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
