As a Body Maintenance Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the operations, maintenance and repair of plant equipment. This work requires the ability to make decisions based on established procedures and is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and improving several SCADA Systems (GPMC, InDepth, DTR, T-PUT) to throughput and decrease downtime.

  • Troubleshoot automation equipment and robots

  • NEC / NFPA 70 Code Knowledge

  • Design, construct, and integrate continuous improvement on existing and new equipment.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in controls or electrical engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in the field

  • Proficient in Programming and troubleshooting the following Software and Hardware:

  • PLC 5, 500, Studio 5000

  • Rockwell Communication Architectures

  • DH/RIO

  • Device Net

  • Ethernet

  • Fanuc Robots

  • ABB Robots

  • Auto Cad

  • E-Plan

  • Siemens HMI's

  • Panel view's

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work weekends as necessary
