We are looking for a talented leader to join our LGR team as a Body Shop Maintenance Coordinator! The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee salaried group leaders and their skilled trades teams. This role requires a high level of organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate maintenance projects
Lead and support maintenance group leaders and their skilled trades teams
Highly involved in troubleshooting and repair of robotics and automated equipment
Administrative tasks
Managing employees
Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
Implements divisional and corporate policies
Implements safety and good housekeeping practices
Frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
Participates in the selection of new employees
Trains, develops and evaluates employees
Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project
Leads technical guidance for complex and unusual plant operations or projects
Assists in the development of budgets and forecasts within assigned area
Obtains a deep knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of manufacturing experience
3+ years maintenance experience
Highly proficient in safety practices and pre-task planning
Highly skilled in organizational planning and project management
Familiar with material handling
Familiar with robotic welding
Experience with vehicle product build and assembly
Experience with UAW contract and local agreements
Familiar with GMS principles
Ability to work off shift and OT as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering fields or equivalent technical experience
Maintenance Group Leader experience
Body shop experience
Leadership experience
