BrightDrop is looking to add a skilled photographer/videographer/editor to our brand team. You would collaborate with our current photographer and videographer, the Brand Manager, Visual Designer, and business stakeholders to create meaningful content promoting our products and elevating our brand. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in shooting and editing for both photo and video, a deep knowledge of the Adobe suite, and be willing to travel.

You must be a collaborative team player who can take direction and execute against it with little assistance, as well as work independently to generate new content.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand focused photo and video assets from concepting, location planning, shooting and editing

  • Edit well-paced, short-form content, including feature stories, teasers, highlight videos, and social video

  • Grow our image asset library
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across time zones that include marketing, product development, product marketing, and engineering to capture and create content for all products and platforms
  • Balance audience needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to solve problems effectively
  • Research business segments, competitive landscape and project details that will inform your work
  • Ensures brand guidelines and quality standards are consistent throughout all content

    Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience shooting and editing for both photo and video
  • Proficient in photo/video editing software including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier and After Effects.
  • Excellent understanding of color and composition
  • Strong portfolio with work samples. Website link (preferred) or PDF must be submitted.
  • Strong communication skills, both visual and written
  • BA, BS, BFA or related discipline.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once as part of a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative team
  • Experience working with large scale brands, or within large brand systems
  • Experience with working within Digital Asset Management Systems, and archiving processes
  • Bi-lingual (particularly Spanish or French)
  • Bonus points if you have knowledge of Cinema 4D
