Reporting to the Manager of P&SC Strategy & Process, this role requires strong cross-functional working relationships with various stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing, finance, legal, and IT teams as well as prospective vendors. This is an opportunity to bring your experience building world-class supply Procurement & Supply Chain organizations to the forefront, leverage external and internal best practices and innovative approaches to lay out the roadmap to a procurement and supply organization that is not only world-class but also a tangible source of competitive advantage to the whole business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of world class processes & systems for the Procurement & Supply Chain organization including, but not limited to: Stakeholder Requests, Procure to Pay & Contract Life-Cycle Management (CLM)

  • Ideate and lead projects from problem statement definition through execution and eventually closure, identifying scopes, timelines, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

  • Research and communicate relevant market and competitor information to the P&SC team to understand benchmark competitor's procurement processes & best practices and regularly advise of industry activities: product development, acquisitions, press releases, etc

  • Create and deploy process “playbooks” for the P&SC organization as well as stakeholders and be the owner the continuous improvement and training of this documentation

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with pertinent stakeholders and business partners to drive strategic priorities and the corresponding regular updates providing day-to-day contact on project prioritization, status and changes to drive strategic priorities within the BrightDrop Operations team

  • Own the management and communication of the Procurement & Supply Chain team's scorecards, including budget

  • Identify improvement opportunities, risks and gaps in current processes and implement solutions to strengthen those processes and related activities

  • Develop and communicate an engaging and insightful P&SC story using visual aids as well quantitative analysis

  • Support GMAS and P&SC internal control teams to drive a culture of compliance.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • Energized by managing multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and complexity.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, innovation and/or business intelligence in addition to being a highly motivated self-starter, who is comfortable in a high degree of ambiguity and has a passion as well as a proven ability to work cross functionally and globally

  • Ability to lead change, resolve conflicts, and influence without direct authority.

  • Passion for an entrepreneurial and innovative environment with a plethora of opportunities for creative solutions to solve complex problems

  • Possesses the interpersonal skills and behaviors to build meaningful relationships with team members and cross-functional colleagues based on collaboration, mutual respect and a shared passion for excellence

  • Bring data, logic and structure to unstructured problems with the ability to create understandable opportunities with actionable solutions

  • High degree of organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Solid understanding of business planning and budgeting concepts including financial analysis

  • Adept and comfortable at developing Executive level presentations and also interacting with and presenting to Senior Executives

  • Familiarity of corporate purchasing policies, procedures and budget setting processes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related areas required

  • Masters Degree and/or MBA preferred

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: ($95,560 - $144,720 USD Annual). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

    Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
