OVERVIEW :
The Role: As the Global Business Manager, you will manage key strategic projects and critical tasks for the Global Manufacturing Engineering Executive Director Global Program Management. You will also manage various manufacturing engineering and manufacturing operations leadership forums. This position requires a high degree of discretion, accuracy and coordination.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross functional teams and other functional leaders to execute business plans that support enterprise objectives.
Develop and maintain Global Program Management (GPM) Business Plan and work with staff to develop detailed plans to achieve objectives.
Communicate priorities and business updates.
Drive common, efficient business processes across regions.
Enhance the Manufacturing Engineering global program management dashboard as an effective repository of critical data
Support development and execution of risk mitigation plans
Prepare meeting and presentation materials as required
Compile and distribute weekly launch summaries to leadership
Execute the internal controls process for GPM
Special assignments and projects that are broad, complex and multifaceted in nature
Manage various manufacturing engineering and manufacturing operations leadership forums: Weekly staff meetings, Strategic Program Reviews (SPR), Execution Readiness Reviews (ERR), VIR/VPE Prep, MEMO Strategy Meetings, Face to Face Meetings for GPM, All People Meetings, All Leader Meetings and MIM forums
Continuously look for ways to improve efficiencies
Manage Budget and headcount for Global Program Management
Ability to create an Inclusive environment of authenticity and openness
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Four-year degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
7 - 10 years of industry experience
Vehicle launch leader experience/Knowledge of the Global Launch Process and Global Vehicle Development Process
Knowledge of the GPD & Manufacturing Organizations and meeting structure
Proven planning and organizational skills, Independent thinking, adaptability, judgment, and problem solving
Experience with and comfortable working with Senior Management or Executives
Meeting coordination, facilitation, capture key points and follow-up assignments
Advanced level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, scheduling, internet, Outlook, and knowledge of SharePoint
Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills
Confidence to take initiative, lead teams and work independently
