Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) has multiple responsibilities to support applications necessary for productivity, reporting, and project management for the Sensing, Safety, and Industrial Components business (SIC) under the High-Performance Organization (HPO) team. Your technical and business skills will help support and elevate the functioning of business information systems. Your knowledge of computer systems, business processes, and workflows will make you a critical member of the team. Your strong communication skills will facilitate requirements gathering for building and enhancing business process maps and systems. Your business process and technical knowledge will help us develop new processes and modify existing business applications supporting the Agile transformation and Business Operations.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business unit to understand and analyze business process requirements and identify appropriate solutions to meet unmet needs.

  • Engage with the stakeholders to identify continuous improvement initiatives and assist or lead those initiatives to improve the efficiency of processes and systems.

  • Propose system and/or process and/or data configuration changes to increase business and systems operational efficiency.

  • Present findings to managers and process owners to inform and influence business strategy.

  • Lead team meetings to facilitate decision-making and support the implementation of recommendations and plans.

  • Partner with business and technical groups to design and implement analytic solutions.

  • Collaborate and consult with business partners, peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

  • Basic qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems , or a related field

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Some knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile

  • 1+ years of experience implementing or supporting applications or information systems

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques

  • Familiarity with formal project and change management processes, particularly Agile and similar methodologies

  • Professional presentation skills

  • Ability to multitask and be able to identify the urgency of tasks and prioritize tasks accordingly
