Responsibilities :

  • Design, build and integrate perception and robotic manipulation skills into AI platform for successful completion of tasks at all stages, training, setup, and deployment
  • Deploy Deep Learning/Reinforcement Learning technologies to different hardware (PC, embedded, …) and integrate into various software applications & frameworks
  • Optimize and accelerate Deep Learning/Reinforcement Learning training and inference pipeline
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Document requirements for hardware, software, and user experience
  • Actively communicate technology limitations and benefits with the research team and closely collaborate to address outstanding issues
  • Review code developed by other developers and researchers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Essential Qualifications :

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning infrastructure (e.g., GPU, cloud TPU), or deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), algorithms and tools (e.g., Kubeflow, Ray.io, MLflow)
  • 3 years of experience in deploying neural networks on resource constrained devices
  • 5 years of experience with software development in C++ and/or Python.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining and/or launching software products
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2 years of experience with computer vision algorithms and tools (e.g., OpenCV)
  • 1 year of experience in graphics and rendering.
  • 1 year of experience in Robot Operating System
  • Proven experience of building and deploying scalable ML models and AI- powered solutions on distributed computing platforms including both cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, private/hybrid) and edge.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures.

    External Job Description

    Responsible for designing, developing, evaluating, optimizing and maintaining production quality software for customers from research algorithm prototypes, with assistance from senior staff. Developing a wide variety of industrial and consumer software products such as imaging applications and utilities, graphic user interfaces and evaluation and testing tools.

    Collaborates with/Key Customers include team leads, management staff, and peers within department and across distributed development groups.

    B - Requires some specialist or admin experience (2- 5 years)

    Education

    E - Completion of an undergraduate program required (B.A. or B.S.).
