  • Job Description
  • Business relationship owner of channel partners for the Industrial Hydraulics business unit of Bosch Rexroth.
  • Enforce clear and solid annual business plans that are mutually developed in meeting the Channel Partner's and business unit's goals.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for Channel Partners, manage performance, and set improvement initiatives as required
  • Develop / maintain monthly KPI reporting -
  • Report progress against selected KPI's
  • Results vs forecast
  • Results by Product Group
  • Request Performance Improvement Plan if required
  • Develop / review IH scorecard on a monthly basis
  • Evaluate / manage ordering processes and impement effecinecies when necessary, example – WSO (Weekly Stock Order) management
  • Implement and manage PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) for underperforming Channel Partner
  • Establish a concise program for improving underperforming functions
  • Define clear goals & measaurements for PIP program w/ each Channel Partner
  • Indicate clear expectations for elimination of PIP or possible cancelation of contract
  • Maintain a updated listing of ALL Industrial Hydraulics Channel Partner options by state
  • Coordinate / develop partner events –
  • Distributor Sales Councils – 2x year
  • Manage / develop Sales Academy
  • Manage / develop IH Technology Week
  • Manage active sales funnel by Channel Partner
  • Evaluate data and measure sales trends / results
  • Coordinate Sales Increasing Activities
  • Ensure proper IH sales and application engineering training(s) are relevant and current
  • Manage the onboarding process of any new Channel Partners.
  • Ensure that there is adequate support from the regional sales team, sales unit, to enable the channel partner to be successful
  • Monitor / approve Channel Partner SPA requests
  • Constantly strive for continuous improvement of processes (CIP). Identify and lead CIP projects within the department or cross-functional teams; pro-actively drive a learning and improvement culture.
  • Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in a relevant field with 5 years of sales experience, OR Associate's Degree in a technical field with 6 years of relevant sales experience OR HS Diploma with 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • 5+ Years of extensive sales experience within the industrial market through external sales channels
  • 3+ years of Industrial Distribution Experience
  • 3+ years of experience handling negotiations and demonstration of professionally handling confrontational situations
  • Assisting legal on confidential issues
  • Building a relationship and motivating the sales leadership of channel partner
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and SAP or other business related software
  • Travel Required – 50% annually; both domestic and international
