Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired. 2-3 times per/week in the office is required.

One of the leads of the recently created Brand Experience structure, the Chevrolet Website Manager will be responsible for evolving, optimizing and personalizing the customer-centric web experience. The website manager must have strong analytic skills and a metrics-oriented decision mindset.

The website manager will lead site content development, a position that requires technical, organizational, and creative skills. Will also be responsible for developing an on-line strategy supporting traffic growth and providing a world class on-line research & shopping experience generating site outcomes. You will have oversight of site analytics as well as website production budgets.

This position requires extensive agency leadership as well as cross- collaboration with numerous constituents including advertising, marketing, sales, IT, CX, GM Research, “Chevy Live” along with many others. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a one-team attitude, and well-rounded advertising and marketing experience as this position will work closely with marketing and advertising counterparts to align around and support brand and sales initiatives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Drive the Chevrolet.com customer experience strategy in which customers, owners and prospects interact with the Chevrolet brand.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the brand's digital content strategy, in cooperation with Marketing and Advertising colleagues and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with members on digital/brand team to ensure a seamless consumer experience across all touch points (i.e. search, display, social, CRM and website)
  • Ensure strong User Experience Design (UX) is utilized across overall site architecture.
  • Manage Competitive review/audits and benchmarking studies
  • Lead weekly status meeting with key agency partners and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the CGI asset creation for all brand models
  • Develop and communicate plans for User Testing, Research, Test and Target, Analytics
  • Establish and track KEAs/KPIs for the website, and ensure that proper tagging in place
  • Create communication briefs for agency partners
  • Ensure GM IT enhancements are implemented
  • Content Strategy and Content Management responsibilities include:

  • Develop vehicle model overview pages and shopping tools
  • Oversee the model-year changeover rollout across the website
  • Lead the website and content development to support reveal and launch vehicles
  • Lead the website and asset development (including photos, videos and CGI assets) to ensure robust and engaging vehicle content
  • Lead content research and optimization for the website/digital platforms
  • Provide retail support
  • Manage partner coordination including Connected Services, OnStar, CCA, Accessories, Card, Rewards, etc.

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience managing digital marketing initiatives.
  • Must have the ability and experience to lead internal and agency partner teams and to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take charge
  • A consumer-centric, results-driven mindset
  • Bachelor degree required
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA
  • Well-rounded Advertising and Marketing-related experience
