We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that
take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life,
by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements
current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to
offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their
destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted
flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous
public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www. volocopter.com).
Your mission during this flight:
You will coordinate all simulator, flight instruction, and evaluation, as
applicable.
You will have functional authority and supervision of instructors,
examiners, and their standardization
You will assist the Head of Training on crew training activities in
general and take part in the assessment and selection of new SFI/TRI/TRE
and SFE
You will be responsible for determining that the syllabi for all training
and checking follow all applicable requirements
You will ensure that training facilities and course materials meet the
required qualification and performance standards of Volocopter ATO and the
applicable Authority
You will ensure that all your personnel know the rules and procedures
relevant to their duties and that their qualification is documented
You will be responsible for ensuring that all Trainees meet the training
requirements imposed by Volocopter ATO, the relevant Authority
You will have responsibility for evaluating flight training feedback,
forward proposals,and initiating measures to maintain or improve the
training standards derived thereof
Check in your professional skills:
University degree
8+ years of experience in the aviation industry
Experience as a commander on fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft
Previous training experience as TRI or TRE
Previous experience in leading teams
Management experience and expertise in an airline training department,
preferably in a comparable organization
Comprehensive knowledge of aviation training philosophies
Work mode: Ground (On Site)
