Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Account Manager from the Travel & Leisure market, to join our Commercial Sales team. Knowledge of POS, print and/or projection technologies is desired. This person will be responsible for building Epson top-line sales by meeting and exceeding sales quotas and increasing Epson brand awareness and market penetration, developing, and coordinating sales activity to Key End User accounts, within the US market. This position will be 100% remote.
Principal Accountabilities: In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Builds Sales 1. Meet or exceed sales objectives in the defined territory by effectively utilizing all resources available 2. Collaborates with Manager in development of sales plan 3. Establishes a strong Epson presence within the account base at decision maker and management level 4. Interacts with all appropriate internal and external customers to insure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the customer 5. Motivates all customer (End User) personnel to support sales and marketing efforts of Epson products 6. Identifies and understands the customer's needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs, and services 7. Designs and creates marketing programs consistent with corporate strategies that result in achievement of sales quotas and objectives within defined territory 8. Ensures that marketing funds are focused on programs that achieve desired product mix, ROI, and considers impact on all Epson channels 9. Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers 10. Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers' purchases and other business activities in the near and distantfuture 11. Participates in trade shows, reseller seminars and sales meetings 12. Identifies sales training needs of account and prepares training in conjunction with the Sales Training Department 13. Resolves customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate 14. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in the defined region
Effective Sales Administration 1. Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts by account 2. Adheres to all administrative policies and procedures 3. Operates within budgetary constraints 4. Submits monthly activity/call reports
What You Will Bring 1. Outbound customer facing sales experience, preferrably in the travel and leisure industry (5+ years) 2. Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.) 3. Excellent verbal, written and relationship skills 4. Familiarity with Salesforce.com
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $73,432 and $185,439. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This position will have a 65/35 commission plan.
