Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

  • This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.
  • As the Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and generate quality leads.

    This role involves developing high-quality content for use across various platforms, supporting GM's new innovative brand – GM Envolve. This channel brings Business to Business (B2B) & Business to Government (B2G) solutions to small, medium and large business and government organizations, focusing on complete end-to-end solutions to help entities meet business goals. The Content Manger will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive and effective content strategy across multiple platforms to achieve sales and marketing objectives, increase brand visibility, and drive lead generation
  • Ensure consistency across all channels and adhere to established brand guidelines and legal requirements
  • Create/write compelling and engaging short and long form content for multiple channels
  • Perform regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated and relevant to the target audience
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, target audience, and product/service/solution offerings to create relevant and impactful content
  • Create and maintain a streamlined content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality content that supports sales and marketing goals
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies and tactics with a desire to consistently strategize on new ways to market our products/services/solutions and reach out key audiences
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovate ideas
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively and in ambiguous situations
  • A strong grasp of UX and SEO best practices
  • Demonstrated advanced writing and editing skills
  • Has experience working and managing agency relationships
  • Leadership and collaboration skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales and Marketing experience
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
  • Experience compiling and analyzing data
  • Comfortable leveraging data to make marketing decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of field and dealer network structure
