Description Responsible for the electrical controls engineering and support for

Vehicle Assembly. Manage electrical projects and operational improvements as well as periodic repair and replacement. Participate in functional area meetings to represent engineering and assist in improving plant performance goals. Providing technical support for manufacturing processes, facilities, and equipment.

  • Provide production and maintenance guidance to assist trades with technical troubleshooting and direction
  • Provide and implement controls solutions for sustaining equipment with obsolete components
  • Implement controls modifications for continuous improvement associated with Throughput Improvement Process
  • Maintain electrical controls documentation and information
  • Manage all phases of project management to meet timing and cost initiatives
  • Direct the design, development, and/or improvements of manufacturing processes, facilities, and equipment for assigned areas
  • Provide technical direction and oversight of outside vendor sources
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

    Technology or equivalent experience and training

  • Must be able to work any shift/ Rotating shifts if needed
  • PLCs (Rockwell, Modicon)
  • Drives (Rockwell, Unico, Indramat)
  • Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet)
  • Robots (Fanuc, Kuka)
  • HMI (FactoryTalk, PanelBuilder, PanelMate)
  • CAD (AutoCad, EPlan)
  • Basic knowledge of power distribution systems
