About the role :

As the Customer Success Lead - Pricing & Financial Analyst, your mission is to evaluate, analyze and help grow OnStar recurring revenue, customer lifetime value, and total revenue across our growing member base. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Finance, you'll identify trends, recommend strategies, and implement initiatives to help us achieve our long-term revenue goals. If you can do VLOOKUPs in your sleep and love to make an impression with VBA in Excel to make an impact on the business, this role is for you!

Some of what you'll do:

ARPU Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the monthly revenue and customer lifetime value for various customer segments and product offerings.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate performance to key stakeholders.
  • Customer Segmentation:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to segment customers based on various attributes and analyze trends for each segment.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customizing offerings to drive incremental customer lifetime value
  • Make recommendations and decisions around high-value segments, campaigns, and strategies
  • Pricing Strategies:

  • Work closely with the Product and Finance teams to develop and evaluate pricing strategies that maximize Revenue/Contribution Margin while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and support the implementation of new pricing models.
  • KPI Analysis:

  • Analyze sales KPI performance (activations, retention, churn) data and the impact of each on CLV & Revenue
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to optimize performance to Revenue goals
  • Forecasting and Budgeting:

  • Assist in developing financial forecasts and budgets related to monthly recurring revenue
  • Provide insights to support the company's long-term financial planning processes
  • Data Analytics and Insights:

  • Utilize various data sources and tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data
  • Generate actionable insights to guide decision-making and business strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities, drivers, and data quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
  • Lead continuous improvement sessions to discuss and review potential enhancements to improve our visibility into monthly recurring revenue and member base count

    Some of what will help you be successful:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and a mastery in Excel.
  • Understanding of financial concepts, including revenue models, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver with a passion for data- driven decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with ambiguity, and multi-task within time constraints
  • Leadership skills to manage in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience making decisions with imperfect data.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, define, structure, and lead complex projects end-to-end.
  • Examples of how your process lead to “root causing” a problem.

  • Potential experience:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated professional work
  • Data analyst, Financial Analyst, or Economist
  • Subscription Experience is a plus
