Description

Purpose

3-month internship assignment to support the Premium Import CX strategy & Data & intelligence team.

Areas of Responsibility

Support the CX strategy & Data & intelligence team with the following projects:

  • Vehicle positioning : Coordinate with agency partners, marketing, product, and communications on vehicle positioning for the GMPI vehicles.
  • Premium Import offerings strateg y: Support a cross-functional team in developing a set of offerings, experiences, and services for GMPI that are of high value to the target customers. Support with in-market experimentation of these offerings. Coordinate with the market research team to validate the offerings through research where appropriate.
  • Visual identity customer testing program: Support the market research team, experiential agency, and assistant brand manager in testing key identity elements with the target customer.
  • Support the Strategy team with additional support as needed, including leadership storytelling and communication, project management, meeting facilitation, etc.

  • Strong meeting facilitator—inclusive, comprehensive, and detail- orientated.
  • Manage the creative process, facilitate effective brainstorming, and has sound judgment regarding the value of various ideas.
  • Effectively work with agency partners and suppliers.
  • Highly effective presentation skills in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups with peers and bosses, inside and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments utilizing highly efficient time management skills.
  • Strong project management capability.
  • Experience/Education:

    Essential Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in roles requiring good organization, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master's degree in business administration preferred
  • Marketing, brand, or product experience preferred
  • Experience working for a lifestyle consumer brand(s)
  • Competencies:

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to move projects forward at a quick pace.
  • Team player who can successfully collaborate cross-functionally to drive results.
  • Takes a creative, open-minded approach to new ways to drive product and brand success. Has a start-up mentality.
