Job Description
Position Overview:
Rockwell Automation is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, responsible for
designing, operating, and supporting Microsoft Security Enterprise solutions,
within the Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering function. You will
support the vision for the security architecture program, security functions,
and standards. You will configure, maintain, and support security capabilities
to protect company information assets that are supported by the cyber
strategy. You will engage with team members to support us and be an advocate
for the cybersecurity controls and enabling the business.
Your Responsibilities:
Identify current and emerging technology issues including security trends,
vulnerabilities and threats.
Analyze and recommend security controls, procedures and strategies.
Develop and implement security tooling and strategies to assist in
detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats.
Collaborate with Security Architects and IT Capability teams on the design
and implement of protections.
Advise organization management, develop and executes plans for compliance
and mitigation of risk.
Develop and administer, or provide advice, evaluation, and oversight for,
systems and platforms within the security domain.
Understand complex technical issues and manage them.
Manage the endpoint components of our security stack, including:
CrowdStrike, ZScaler, Forescout, Rapid7 InsightVM, Microsoft Defender for
Endpoint, Microsoft Intune, or equivalent.
Design, implement, and support advance security solutions within Microsoft
security suites. Expert level experience in Microsoft Defender suite of
products.
Balance competing requirements and interests, keep team focused on top
priorities, and find ways to achieve win-win or obtain
acceptance/consensus for best compromise
Risk management focus is essential – the ability to consider a complex
array of information, including prediction of future events, to make risk-
based decisions or recommendations.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant work experience within Information
Security
Experience in an engineering and in manufacturing environment.
Professional Certifications (CISSP, CISA, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Agile
Coach)
Experience designing and managing endpoint security controls, using built-
in OS tools and 3rd party security tools.
The commercial acumen to provide cost-effective and scalable security
solutions in a fast changing and dynamic global organization
An enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about
security threats and solutions
Experience in a regulated business, with ability to manage technical
solutions, support end users, solves technical problems, organize, and
make decisions.
Certifications in CISSP/CISM/CRISC/PMP, AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-200, ZIA/ZPA
Professional.
SME work experience in Microsoft security tools.
Design and Implementing a Zero Trust Architecture
Expert level experience in Microsoft M365 Security, Microsoft Purview
Information Protection (formally known as Azure AIP).
Expert level experience in Security Operations (Microsoft Sentinel,
Microsoft Defender Suite: Defender for Endpoint, Defender for O365,
Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud App)
Experience in Identity and Access Management Technologies (Active
Directory, Azure Active Directory (AD) Security, AD Security, Privileged
Access Management, etc.)
Experience in Securing the Platform (Azure Network, Azure Key Vault,
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Services)
Capability with script development (PowerShell, Python)
Experience in enterprise data security solution used for Encryption, HSM,
cloud KMS, DLP and management.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $104,000.00 – 156,000.00
with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our company benefits for the
US can be found here . Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills,
knowledge, education, and experience.
