The Digital Transformation Team

The Digital Transformation Team within Global Business Solutions is passionate about enabling digital solutions that empower our business partners to derive immediate value from innovative tools and technology. Our objective is to connect the business to underlying data assets & tools for analytics, predictive modeling, and automation to generate business value and efficiency. Develop customer centric solutions for our strategic partners based on need, complexity, and process maturity; and upskill our workforce to leverage the latest digital tools to drive efficiencies in their daily activities, in addition to collaborating with our global service centers to scale our impact.

As a Member of the Team

We are seeking a talented and passionate Digital Enablement Analyst. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for addressing the digital enablement needs of our most valuable asset, our people. The team accelerates innovation, learning and collaboration by cultivating programs and platforms that upskill our workforce's capabilities and broaden connections across GM to prepare for the ‘future of work'.

As the Digital Enablement Senior Analyst, you will support all Digital Marketplace applications, working, working cross-functionally and globally to ensure close alignment with the Digital Enablement purpose, strategy and execution model. You will be a champion for growing Digital Transformation's services through the Digital Marketplace and Upskilling Programs.

The successful candidate will have a user-centric approach to innovation, learning and collaboration. This person will be comfortable with ambiguity and able to build strong partnerships with all levels of the organization, including business partners and key stakeholders. The person in this role should be a continuous learner, staying current on new approaches to an and keeping a pulse on the industry. With a positive and engaging approach, this role will inspire confidence in enabling GM's people to innovate and learn. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to move fast in an ever-changing environment.

Core Responsibilities

Digital Marketplace

  • Support execution of growth and adoption of the Digital Marketplace in GMI region, while maintaining a global mindset
  • Integrate with GMI region's learning and innovation teams, deploying digital enablement programs and “train-the-trainer” approaches
  • Support the execution of GMI-based meetings and events, presenting Digital Marketplace to audiences at all levels, as requested
  • Innovate

  • Support the execution of solution library activities, moderating the intake of new solutions.
  • Develop success metrics/OKRs to quantify and track solutions.
  • Attend GM analytics/AI/automation forums and curate solutions that were presented.
  • Connect

  • Support the “Connect” user experience
  • Serve as a moderator for the “Community”, curating and responding to conversations and knowledge shares in the Digital Marketplace and Viva Engage
  • Support the Digital Partnership and Digital Insider Program globally
  • Learn

  • Support Digital Accelerator Program as a coach (2 waves per year) (requires Power BI and KNIME skills), as needed
  • Support Digital Upskilling Program in GMI and GMNA regions as a lead or support trainer, as needed

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Applied Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Marketing, Data Science, or Statistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert in MS Office Applications and collaboration tools
  • Hands on experience developing analytics/automation solutions and working with digital tools such as Power BI, KNIME, SharePoint, Python, etc.
  • A critical thinker able to evaluate the big picture and use a flexible skillset to solve business problems and contribute to team successes
  • Excellent communicator with a demonstrated ability to synthesize information, understand customer needs and deliver results/share knowledge that enables customers to build their digital skills and expertise
  • Agility mindset – learns quickly when facing new problems. Is a determined and versatile learner, open to change, feedback and brings structure to an ambiguous environment
