Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) currently supports Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages for the following types of ACDelco customers: Direct Accounts (DA) and Specialized Distribution as well as OEMs such as Honda, Brightdrop and Cruise. The EDI Coordinator will work closely with the CCA Sales team and other customer support teams to develop and support EDI transactions.

Description:

  • Tasks will include setting up trading partner profiles, EDI transaction templates, and file transfer communications.
  • The EDI Coordinator will provide test and production support to EDI customer
  • Work with the GM IT, project managers, various CCA business groups such as Supply Chain, Warehousing and Finance as well as our outside EDI service providers, as necessary, for modifications to the EDI products to meet our customers needs.
  • Requirements:

  • Understand EDI X12 format
  • Working knowledge of CCA Host screens/order status
  • Basic understanding of CCA customer order processing and warehouse shipping processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence business partners
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities while maintaining effectiveness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, rapidly evolving industry and organization, comfortable with ambiguity
