Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ADV (Analysis, Development, Validation) plans
  • Lead test plan execution, reporting ADV Status to Product Validation Engineer
  • Analyses and interprets resulting data from tests (resolves data anomalies)
  • Utilizes analytical tools into support root cause and correction of product failures and test issues
  • Document all anomalies using existing documentation tools
  • Support through attendance in Design Review by Test Results (DRBTRs)
  • Support ADV process to reduce Hardware and promote Virtualization strategy
  • Participate in Problem Solving Teams
  • Maintains frequent communication with internal customer and global development centers
  • Prepares formal written post-test reports
  • Support Quality Processes, like PFMEA
  • Support Vehicle Validation - Type Approval Activities
  • Participate in DFMEA work groups

    Additional Description

    Basic Required Skills:

    • Graduated in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Engineering preferred). • Fluency in English • Ability to analyze complex data and to make sound recommendations. • Ability to influence without authority. • Ability to present complex technical topics in forums. • Innovative mindset and curious for optimized methods.

    Preferred:

    • Experience with vehicle and bench validation at component or subsystem level. • DFSS and Root Cause / Red-X experience. • Excellent organizational skills - Able to manage numerous projects across multiple programs. • High level of integrity to work independently and effectively with others. • Quick to learn, results orientated , and willing to work hands-on with GM's vehicles and benches. • High level of written and oral communication skills to work effectively with others– Is able to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally.
