Manufacturing Engineering (ME) in TCI is a part of a Global ME team. Goal of TCI ME team is executing Design/Simulation/Virtual/Engineering Workshare for The Globe. This diverse & dynamic team strives to excel in areas of virtual & execution engineering in the areas of Propulsion Systems, Body in White, Press & Dies, Paint & General Assembly, Automation, ME Integration etc.
About TCI IE –Manufacturing Process Documentation:
TCI MPD team is the part of Global Manufacturing Integration – Industrial Engineering team and is the only team supporting for MPD development in GMIO region in General Motors except China. We Develop and Maintain MPDs to support the assembly plants globally for flawless builds and launches. We support for Change management for the existing programs and new MPD creations for new programs for GMIO region
Job Summary
TCI MPD team is the part of Global Manufacturing Integration – Industrial Engineering team and is the only team supporting for MPD development in GMIO region in General Motors except China. We Develop and Maintain MPDs to support the assembly plants globally for flawless builds and launches. We support for Change management for the existing programs and new MPD creations for new programs for GMIO region
I. Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop Manufacturing process documents as defined by the global Manufacturing process documents standards
· Communicate engineering issues to Design Responsible Engineers
· Create Manufacturing Work orders for seeking Design Engineers & Manufacturing Engineers approval for the Master process documents
· Follow up on the engineering issues and the Manufacturing Work Orders
· Route parts to the correct Manufacturing process documents – Initiate Manufacturing process documents assignment request for parts in 9s Manufacturing process documents and revised Manufacturing process documents assignment for moving parts from incorrect Manufacturing process documents to correct Manufacturing process documents and send it to the respective regional coordinators to fix the Automatic Pad Assignment table.
· Maintain/Create Manufacturing process documents based on the Engineering change requests initiated
· Reject/Rework Engineering Change Requests in cases of incomplete input data
· Complete Engineering Change Requests within the stipulated time as agreed with customer
· Maintain the Engineering change management inbox as per the Manufacturing process documents timelines
· improve the processes, as necessary.
· Create and publish items with Viso drawings files in Team center Automotive edition

· Vehicle Anatomy, Basic TcAE, Basic UG, Vis MOCKUP, MS Office tools, Creating VBA Macros

II. Educational Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering discipline.
III. Experience
· 1-3 years in Automobile / Mechanical allied Engineering Industry
· Vehicle anatomy, and product structure
· Experience in developing assembly instructions/ manuals for pre/production activities
· Experience in Teamcenter applications, NX
