Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Your crew during this flight:

As an engineering manager, you will be the technical and disciplinary leader of a team of up to 15 individuals. You will make decisions that affect the sub-system level for technical aspects while ensuring that your team delivers their work in a timely, cost-effective, and high-quality manner.

Your mission during this flight:

  • You will plan and manage the team capacity accoridng to the project needs.
  • You will work closely with the Head of Department to manage the team's budget.
  • You provide technical and disciplinary guidance to team members including resourcing, development, performance management, recognition, and reward.
  • You will provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and feedback to the team, ensuring high morale and clarity within the group.
  • You collaborate closely with other team leads and the Head of Department to ensure the best results.
  • Check in your professional skills:

  • You have an MSc, PhD or equivalent degree in Aerospace or equivalent experience
  • You have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Flight Physics
  • You have a proven track record in team management
  • You are familiar with Aerodynamics, Aeroelasticity, Flight Mechanics and Rotor as well as associated development steps and processess
  • You have experience working with aerospace standards as CS23/CS27/SC- VTOL/DO-160G/DO-311A or similar
