As an Enterprise Data Lead at Rockwell, you will play a crucial role in enabling our digital transformation to the Salesforce ecosystem through data enablement. As part of our Demand to Renew (D2R) program, we will be implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You will play a vital role in data mapping, cleansing, engineering, migration strategy, and data quality for our transformation. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless execution of data-related aspects in our Salesforce transformation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

Data Mapping and Analysis:

  • Analyze existing data structures and requirements to create comprehensive data mapping documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data mapping strategies, including API integration for data extraction and transformation.
  • Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute data cleansing processes to improve data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
  • Establish data quality standards and conduct ongoing data quality checks, addressing issues promptly.
  • Data Migration Strategy and API Integration:

  • Formulate and implement data migration strategies that align with project objectives, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Utilize data migration tools, methodologies, and APIs to facilitate smooth data transitions, including extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Data Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards, implementing data access controls and encryption as needed.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address data-related concerns.
  • Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and business units, to align data initiatives with organizational goals and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience in data management, with a specific focus on Salesforce.com or comparable platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field would be highly advantageous. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, including data analysis and mapping, data migration, and API integration.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in data management, Salesforce.com, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience in the industrial automation or manufacturing sector is a plus.
