Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify leading suppliers and latest technology hardware and software solution for home and public charging
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams for specification of home charging equipment and installation services to be offered at dealers for charging solution
  • Deliver on time contract and process associated to home/workplace charging solution including technical reviews, procurement, and contract support
  • Coordinate implementation of customer support, connectivity and quality assurance process for the charging solutions implemented on a regional level
  • Interact with the marketing and sales teams to provide guidance and technical expertise for charging equipment commercialization and aftersales support
  • Elaborate and implement public charging programs and partnerships according to company strategic goals, by constructing business proposals and reviewing financial business case with the financial areas of GM and selected strategic partners
  • Work with GM OnStar and Connected Services teams to deliver app solutions and customer centered digital solutions that maximize the EV experience in the region
  • Regulatory development through work with GM Governmental Relations and Engineering teams, as well as outside associations and regulatory agencies, to collaborate in EV adoption regulatory proposals
  • Interact with global and regional teams to explore synergies and joint development of charging solutions
  • Additional Description

    Basic Qualifications:

    ● Bachelors degree in Technology, Science, Engineering (Electrical engineering preferred)

    ● 5 years relevant experience in EV infrastructure, sales/aftersales, energy, product engineering or program planning

    ● English, Spanish and Portuguese fluency

    ● Experience developing a complex and dynamic program plan, with minimal oversight

    ● Cross functional team leadership

    ● Business process oriented

    ● Relationship building across the organization

    ● Creativity, tenacity and ability to work in ambiguity

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ● Electrification, Energy management related experience

    ● Vehicle Program Management or Product Engineering experience

    ● Sales, marketing or aftersales experience
