As a member of the EV Supply Chain Launch Team, you will be strategic advisor and administrator to functional managers to help them make sound business decisions. You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.


  • Coordinate material counts
  • Supports/manages obsolescence adjustments
  • CTL (Close the Loop) investigation
  • Investigates part histories to identify misuse, specification problems, unaccounted scrap or potential theft
  • Audit of receiving process, follow-up and resolution of discrepancies, including duplicate receipts
  • Investigates/validates “Discrepancy Receipts” & “No Shipping Records”
  • Performs a daily audit of record adjustments including Scrap, Miscellaneous Records, Discrepancy Receipts
  • Manage E-scrap system processing of launch parts and communication to the plant teams
  • Coordinates record retention adhering to GM Information Lifecycle Management requirements
  • Performs material receipt analysis and investigates losses
  • Participate in future material shortage calls
  • Basic Required:

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • Planning and organizational abilities
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
  • Proficient with MS-Office tools (Excel, Access, Project, Word, and Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work independently
  • High level of communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to present findings to all levels of the organization
  • Basic Preferred:

  • General understanding of GSC Material Systems such as MGO
  • Product launch or project management experience
