Onsite: This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.
The Event Coordinator represents Design Center with internal and external customers to establish event requirements. Creates schedules, directs setup and teardown of events. Hosts and facilitates event activities as assigned working directly with the support groups within Design and Global Facilities. Coordinates program reviews, large group meetings, tours and special events. This role is an individual contributor with responsibility for managing specific task(s) in the GMNA Design Business and Finance Operations group which may include budget development, reporting, and forecasting teams.
Bachelors degree in Communications, or related field required 3+ years in event planning, sales, public relations, leading presentations, and/or related work experience required
Working knowledge of UAW labor agreements and the ability to identify UAW resources necessary required
