We're looking for an experienced Federal Account Executive. The ideal candidate has experience with the full sales cycle for SaaS products. This is a new role for our company that will have a significant impact on our revenue growth both domestically and internationally.

What would I be doing?

  • Analyze market dynamics to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities
  • Act as a “Hunter” who excels at generating and closing new sales.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that includes outbound prospecting, lead generation and field sales engagement to help meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Ensure that the federal sales plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal.
  • Provide overall relationship management and act as the central point of contact for customers. Cultivate customer relationships and ensure effective service delivery to accounts.
  • Be responsible for all renewal and expansion revenue for your accounts.
  • Explain the DroneSense platform and how it provides life saving technology for public safety professionals. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans. Drive marketing initiatives, go-to-market programs, and demand generation activities that will result in new sales opportunities
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to develop industry expertise.
  • Understand and communicate all product and technology strategies employed by competitors
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior level decision makers for customers.
  • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of high technology sales experience with responsibility for the full sales cycle (prospecting, customer presentation/demos, negotiating, and closing the sale).
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives is required. Effective at presenting to executive management, i.e. C-Level
  • Ability to exercise extra discretion with government clients and may even need to pass a background check.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience with software sales and able to work under minimal supervision on complex projects.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
