Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review AR detail estimates prior to project submittal to verify correct account classifications
  • Build and manage approved project detail in SAP spending area at the line- item level
  • Analyze and process project related documents (shopping carts, field orders, etc.)
  • Build “Work Breakdown Structure” in SAP within project budget and initiate fund transfers
  • Verify account breakdown structure is accurate between capital and expense accounts
  • Review and approve Construction Invoices, Sworn Statement and Waiver of Lien in adherence to the “Construction General Terms and Conditions” contract
  • Review Forecast Database to ensure both forecast accuracy and actual “Work Complete”
  • Responsible for monthly accrual journal entry to finance
  • Serve as “Single Point of Contact” for project manager & coordination with financial, purchasing & contractors
  • Frequent contact with project members and other outside groups, including executive levels
  • Knowledge of sales, property, and personal tax requirements
  • Monitors project reports to ensure accuracy and generate project status reports
  • Work with GBS to accurately Capitalize Assets
  • Coordinate project close-out process

  • Required Knowledge/Experience :

  • Good working knowledge of project related activities for Construction Projects and Construction General Terms & Conditions contract
  • Financial background preferably in Capital Management/GBS Capitalization/Plant Financial/Project Tracking
  • High level of knowledge in use of SAP project systems, accounts payable and procurement
  • Required Skills :

  • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex
  • Self-starter having a high level of independent judgment with minimal supervision
  • High level of interpersonal skills to interact with others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong background in using MS Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and SAP
  • Additional Description

    Education:

    College degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or equivalent training

    +2 Years of Experience in Finance areas

    SAP Project Systems experience

    Advanced English (Reports direct to US)
