This position is Hybrid with an expectation to be in office 3 days a week. Occasional travel through US, Canada and Mexico.

As a member of our Global Sustainable Workplaces Team, you will be responsible for the strategic initiatives associated with the 3rd party food service agreements for Manufacturing and support of Mexico locations and shuttle transportation application contracts. This team supports the frameworks, scope development, transitional onboarding, and steady state monitoring to ensure the successful integration of the business partnerships driving sustainability principles and waste elimination through performance root cause analysis and countermeasures in the development of monthly KPI evaluations and annual performance reviews with our business partners. This role requires regular interface with Global Purchasing and Manufacturing contacts through the sourcing process and thereafter managing service level changes. This role also supports supplier safety and ensuring compliance with Safety Contract Management.

Scope:

  • Development and integrity of the scope and framework for Food Service Agreements at GM Manufacturing in the US and support for Mexico, overseeing the quality of execution of our business partners.
  • Sourcing and support for shuttle transportation at Michigan campuses (Milford and Warren)
  • Build business partner relationships, continuous improvement, service quality delivery, coaching for improvement and support gap closure on performance.
  • Contract deliverables, change control, driving benchmarking and assurance that we are optimized in sourcing strategies, new technology and creative ideas.
  • Key Performance Metric Development and Tracking - oversight of service agreement risks, optimizing a profit and loss food service model.
  • Driving health and wellness initiatives with suppliers at every GM location.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, engineering, finance, facility management or a related field
