Work performed with significant independent judgment. This position is an off- shift position with minimal supervision. Daily tasks often require quick decision-making and resolution of build issues resulting from production order, quality, specification, or production build issues, to ensure no impact to production. Responsibilities require interaction with and support for Production Floor team, Material floor team, Quality team, LLP team, and part suppliers.

Job Description/ Responsibilities

  • Rebroadcast Family addresses for breaking ECR's and by PC team request
  • ECS effective date reconciliation
  • Reconciling the Corporate Manager's Wire for daily production performance in POMS
  • Run search and find request screens for production, yard campaigns, broadcast changes, etc
  • Run MGO macro to validate family address changes
  • Responsible for the daily order line-up, including manual order set-in & set-out process
  • Responsible for recording production counts in the 900 Production counts B file
  • Manage reports designated for broadcast & GEPICS maintenance information
  • Responsible for investigating and modifying cells in LMS, maintain and update LMS tables for smart manifests on the production floor
  • Applies EWO's to broadcast codes as required
  • Assigns, modifies, and removes “hold” codes or order set-outs on vehicles for management due to special vehicle handling
  • Logs Stop work orders (SWO) for the plant and communicates as needed
  • Update breakpoints in GEPICS for coordinated changes as needed
  • Supports material floor as needed
  • Perform and coordinate material flow activities
  • Maintain inventory record balance integrity / Count parts and assess coverage
  • Make visuals for material storage locations
  • Plan for Every Part (PFEP) knowledge

    Basic skill requirements

    • Strong interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and practical problem-solving abilities

    • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan

    • Demonstrated high level analytical ability, organizational ability, and project management skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Highly proficient use of systems and computer software application skills – technically detail-oriented

  • Strong customer-focus
  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/IT/Supply Chain related disciplines or equivalent experience preferred

  • MGO and GEPICS base-line knowledge required
  • VBIMS, EPS, PPS, WMS knowledge preferred
