LDT is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Global Standard Inspection Process (GSIP) Administrator. The GSIP administrator, will manage and provide guidance to the LDT team on GSIP usage, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. The GSIP Administrator will also be responsible for developing, testing, and crafting quality solutions for medium level changes. Defect analysis resolution and verification for vehicle subsystem quality.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Lead the maintenance and repair of GSIP terminals
Responsible for GSIP user set up, training employees on GSIP usage
Support error proofing, mapping machine code to GSIP and re-cache GSIP to plant production
Perform QAS routing on GSIP alarms
Act as Technical Lead for SIP PFMEA and perform it as part of CI
Create/Update Smart IRC sheet
Maintain WPO Zone and Housekeeping
Perform Portable Testing Tool (PTT) validations for GSIP reporting
Support GSIP import files for Mapping, execute GSIP Part/team mapping
Recommends continuous improvement actions for GSIP Quality stations
Work with production/launch/core team in new product launch with GSIP station set up
Provide floor troubleshooting assistance & root cause analysis
Support Business Plan S, P, Q, R, C, E goals
Fully support the team concept
Support and Lead implementation of GMS
Perform ISO, PCP, GMS and other compliance audits as needed
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Vehicle Assembly process and process equipment
Fundamental knowledge of GSIP or similar system (CALYPSO/PCDMIS)
Experience/knowledge of GM-Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
High level of interpersonal skills with sensitivity to other's points of view
Demonstrated ability to listen to & support team members
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical or Electrical), or equivalent experience
Ability to work OT as needed
Ability to work off shift as needed (primarily first shift)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors 's degree in Engineering or IT
Project management leadership skills
Statistical Process Control (SPC) skills
ISO 9001 system knowledge
Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (CIP)
