Description

As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support
  • support supply chain organization's business objectives.
  • Ensure business objectives goals are achieved or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Responsible for supporting relationship management and offering support to warehousing/manufacturing and suppliers.
  • Plans and resolves issues to ensure no or minimal impact to the supply chain.
  • Act as service customer contact and liaison
  • Create customer schedule agreements and shipping releases
  • Review customer sites for reliability, compliance and announcements and process accordingly
  • Maintain SAP metrics
  • Process and distribute all GM Bulletins
  • Customer Dunnage Manager
  • Report daily dunnage shortages if applicable
  • Monitor dunnage shipments/deliveries
  • Perform CLIPS receipts
  • Run dunnage repair process
  • Work with GM Packaging on dunnage issues, expendable packaging, recycling, scrap
  • Work with outside supplier on delivery windows, cleanliness and repair issues
  • Additional Description

    Requirements:

  • 3+ year of in Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • SAP Proficiency in OTC Module
  • Associate's Degree
  • Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
