GM's Dealer Service and Warranty Operations organization supports our global dealer network with tools and equipment, technician training, labor times and warranty administration. The Global Warranty Strategy Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of Global Warranty Strategy that will support GM as we charge into a future of Zero, Zero, Zero!
What You'll Do:
The Global Warranty Strategy Manager role will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional business partners to create a vision & roadmap to transform warranty operations for our future. Implementation focus areas include customer experience, policy controls, flexibility to integrate new products, agility to support evolving legislation, enhanced quality data for problem solving and automation to eliminate manual work.
We are looking for an influential leader with a background in Operational Excellence (i.e., lean, six sigma, kaizen, value stream mapping) to lead others to identify and eliminate waste and variation.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
4+ years People Leader Experience
Operational Excellence Leadership experience (lean, six sigma, kaizen, value stream mapping)
Project Management and Execution experience with tangible results
Proven experience Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams
Highly developed technical and analytical abilities
Advanced business plan development and problem-solving skills
Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
Keen ability to articulately communicate to different audiences
High-level of capability to independently work, make decisions and exercise sound judgement
Background in either Service/Warranty/Quality business, processes, or systems
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or similar discipline area.
