Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

  • This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.
  • GM is transforming and an exciting opportunity exists to help design the future of seller training across several B2B business units. GM Envolve focuses on bringing holistic Business to Business (B2B) & Business to Government (B2G) solutions to small, medium, and large organizations; focusing on complete end-to-end B2B/B2G solutions to help our partners meet their business goals.

    This role will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing key field sales training, adoption & communication strategies on various processes and tools across multiple customer segments and business units driving efficiencies and profitable revenue growth for the organization.

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement account executive training curriculum that drives adoption of revenue growth strategies and sales process across all tiers to achieve commercial targets, reduce operational complexity and free up time to execute more broadly.

  • Drive account executive adoption of CRM, sales stage progression, content utilization and forecasting.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations and business units to provide the right learning content and experiences, knowledge, tools, and resources to drive upskill training and effectively communicate the value of the company's products and services to close deals.
  • Partner with Center of Learning and / or external partners to develop on- demand training content and annual training path for sellers.
  • Lead internal B2B / B2G seller communication activities, ensuring the flow of information is efficient between field sellers and central office.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Lead the creation / input of appropriate training, meetings, content / sales messaging, processes, practices, forms, and tools to support a cross functional field force.
  • Own onboarding and ongoing learning experiences for all B2B & B2G sellers.
  • Leadership Skills

  • Ability to lead effectively and provide direction to other members of the team.
  • Ability to quickly build consensus and take decisive actions.
  • Project planning and management, budget management.
  • Ability to build relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Experience in selecting and managing external resources.
  • Ability to manage upward in the organization to influence executives as well as manage downward.
  • Skills and Experiences

    Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience required.
  • 5+ years in automotive sales, marketing, operations and/or training.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence business partners.
  • Ability to establish and prioritize KPIs that can help determine the impact and effectiveness of training efforts.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
