The Role:

As a leader in Supply Chain, you will be responsible for any engineering changes within key areas within the Global Supply Chain Organization: manufacturing/ warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management.

You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, quality, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.

What You'll Do:

In this position you will execute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. This position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers and is responsible for supporting relationship management with the plant and PET leaders through the following duties:

  • Capture all EWOs and TWOs from the ECM inbox for the plant
  • Coordinate EWO breakpoint information to capture first EUN usage and maintains EWO log for each model year
  • Review TWOs with plant cross functional teams for execution readiness (Weekly Change Management Meeting)
  • Document DMAX 7-character EUN/TUN
  • Communicate to the applicable DRE when a TWO is closed
  • Provides plant Engineering Change coordination
  • Responsible for writing local specs for plant and processing of deviations to specs
  • Analysis of specification related issues
  • Utilizes ECM for engineering change inquiry information
  • Works reports designated for ECR changes and breakpoints and creates and distributes ECR notification e-mail
  • Coordinates the implementation of engineering changes and communicates with supplier on change status
  • Manages SAP activity for old/new part changes
  • Verifies Production Trial Run (PTR) status for all changes
  • Develops plant break points using supplier input, plant reference, engineering direction, marketing requests, OF systems
  • Finalizes breakpoints
  • Create & Maintain BOMs in SAP
  • Additional Description

    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience working in a supply chain environment
  • Experience with SAP, ECM, Sharepoint, engineering change management, and plant floor material flow processes.
  • What can give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Previous Project Management experience
