In this role you will be responsible for the Digitalization of the ABB E-mobility service offering ensuring an integrated approach to all digital tool developments building customer-network dashboard and digital service operations, integrating tools and underpinning the collaborative operations center supporting both regions. Digital is a key enabler for the delivery of ABB E-mobility's strategy. As a global leader you will design, develop and drive the digital service portfolio and strategy in collaboration with Product Owners, Software & Operations teams, by creating an organic and holistic approach to address customer's needs.

Your responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the intervention and involvement at an early stage of the design process ensures that remote diagnostic readiness is a key early-stage development criteria for all future subsystems, enabled through competence build up
  • Responsible to run the ABB E-Mobility Collaborative Operations Centers (CoC)
  • Together with head of SW responsible to roll-out the newest software to the keep the network KPIs of our customers to the highest standards
  • Together with product and sales to develop a clear SLA proposition which is bundled with all our products
  • Over time, team will develop its own top line
  • Technology direction. Developing a strategy and platform to proactively develop revenues from our installed base
  • Innovation and creativity. Develops, secures and facilitates innovation process, and ensures OKRs are in place to be tracked
  • Projects, processes and tools. Ensures programs are delivered on time and on budget. Ensures that actions and decisions taken are approved in accordance with prevailing policies and instructions. Drives, influences and facilitates cooperation around market standards and guidelines important to the organization
  • R&D context. Aligns development with Product Owners function to define market-oriented Development projects. Ensure proper alignment of Development Roadmaps with the Platform Roadmaps
  • Knowledge transfer. Supports and oversees transfer of technology and knowledge in the business and with internal partners
  • Network and visibility. Represents the Development function to customers and internal/external stakeholders. Ensures representation to relevant universities and institutions
  • Finance and budget. Responsible for Development budget and targets, set in accordance with defined parameters
  • People leadership and development. Ensures that people processes are in place to enable the appropriate organization, competence and skills to exist or be developed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect employees with the support of HR processes
  • Your background
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines preferred (although extensive software business exposure would compensate for lack of IS-specific academic background)
  • 15+ years' experience in the automotive/service or software industry with focus on digitalization and a deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
  • Proven experience in driving digital transformation for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (software, technology, mobility, energy industry)
  • General understanding of the eMobility Ecosystem, trends and opportunities
  • Deep know how on new business models related to digitalization
  • Experience in the industrial environment; Electrification-specific industry exposure preferred
  • Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, “leading by influence”
  • Change management experience is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Availability to travel internationally as required
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
