We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that
take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life,
by getting air taxis and drones off the ground in a way that complements
current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to
offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their
destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted
flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous
public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www. volocopter.com).
Your mission during this flight:
You will provide leadership aiming to build a scalable and state-of-the-
art IT ecosystem
You will define the IT Operations delivery model in conjunction with
current and future requirements (e.g. cloud-first strategy)
You will drive a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and
schedule constraints (e.g. Identity Governance Administration, Endpoint
Management, Production IT/OT)
You will develop key performance indicators and SLAs meeting stakeholder
requirements
You will enable process efficiency of IT front and back office operations
You will identify key skills and talent gaps in the organization and work
to recruit, train, and retain talent
You will identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of
contracted work
Check in your professional skills:
Master's Degree in Programming, Computer Science, Engineering or related
field
10+ years' experience in an IT Service Management environment in a similar
role.
Very good knowledge in building and maintaining a cloud-first company and
its Enterprise IT resources
Experience in hiring, managing, and retaining a team of talented
technology professionals
Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive
effectiveness of the IT department
Business fluent in German and English
Preferred:
Approx. 2+ years' experience providing IT solutions in an Aerospace
environment
PMP, ITIL, SCRUM certification
