We at Volocopter are the pioneers of electric air taxis, i.e. aircraft that
take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring urban air mobility to life,
by getting air taxis and drones off the gorund in a way that complements
current transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to
offer affordable on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their
destination quickly and safely. In 2011 we performed the first-ever piloted
flight of a purely electric multicopter and have since showcased numerous
public flights with our full-scale VoloCity aircrafts (www. volocopter.com).
Your mission during this flight:
Reporting directly to the CPO, you are responsible for the end-to-end Talent
experience at Volocopter. Bringing together the Learning & Development, Talent
Acquisition and Employer Branding functions, you will optimize how we manage
Talent across the Company. From a seamless candidate experience for all
incoming applicants to managing our selection and tailored assessment
processes, to growing, developing and retaining our Talent internally.

You will bring together and lead three functional areas: Talent
Acquisition, Employer Branding and Learning and Development, ensuring that
we successfully achieve all our goals together. You directly supervise the
team leads of those areas.
You are our point of contact when it comes to engaging new talents, their
assessment and development – you foster a scientific approach of assessing
the best talents to scale the Company and strive for organizational
success.
You enable and lead people, cultural and organizational development.
You train and advise the management team on how to assess, engage and
develop our top-notch talent.
Facts are friends: you implement a culture of data by using analytic tools
and exclusively digital methodology.
Build up Employer Branding, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition
growth and development paths.
You will be responsible for organizational development, including external
contractors, and contribute to workforce planning
You will empower your team leads with strategic guidelines to support them
in implementing operational changes.
Check in your professional skills:
You should have a B.Sc., M.Sc., Master's diploma or equivalent in
psychology or similar.
Minimum 9 years of experience in either a fast-paced environment and/or in
the aviation industry in a similar role.
Minimum 4 years leadership experience.
You are able to build something up from scratch and combine strategic
thinking with an absolute hands-on mentality.
You are a true and passionate leader: You love to inspire your team, to
grow them and are committed to continuing your own learning journey.
An excellent communicator both written and verbally; even difficult
messages are delivered with flair and empathy.
You have a high level of passion for your role, and to changing the world
for the better.
You have very high levels of empathy which you put to best use to achieve
the needs of the business.
You deal with ambiguity in a solution-oriented way, by embracing
adaptability and questioning if well-trodden paths are the right thing for
our innovative Company.
Business fluent English is a must for this role, as is experience working
within the German labor market. German language capabilities would be an
advantage.
