About the role:

By combining best-in-class autonomy and cloud connectivity, drones will become critical and ubiquitous infrastructure that can be deployed and monitored in real-time to solve a variety of problems faster, cheaper, and safer than ever before.

As the Head of Technical Partnerships and Developer Ecosystem at Skydio, you will be responsible for driving our platform integration strategy across commonly used enterprise tools, to ensure a robust end-to-end solution for our customers.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our target customer base and strategic priorities in order to build a prioritized list of strategic product integration partners necessary to unlock and accelerate growth
  • Establish, develop and own relationships with strategic product integration partners to understand how to best integrate their product offerings with the Skydio Platform in order to drive value for joint customers
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams across Skydio to help guide our strategic API roadmap based on customer and partner developer feedback
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to build and maintain a Skydio App Marketplace to showcase certified product integrations
  • Evangelize Skydio technologies to build a strong developer community
  • Ensure third party developers have a best-in-class development experience across onboarding, documentation, tooling and support
  • Identify Third Party Developer resources for vetting, certification and recommendation to customers desiring custom integration development
  • Partner with the sales team to close strategic customer accounts dependent on integration
  • What would make you a good fit:

  • Three to seven years of proven success in defining and delivering market- leading b2b software products, including specific experience leading development of compelling user-facing software for complex, electronic hardware products. Drone experience is a plus but not required.
  • Three years of experience building strategic enterprise technical partnerships centered around REST based API integrations
  • Engineering or other technical educational background that makes you at home in deep discussions with engineers on complex technical architectures, challenges, and tradeoffs.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Dedicated team player who strives to enable others to do their best work.
  • A passion for speaking with -- and learning from -- customers
  • An advanced degree or an MBA would be a plus, but is not required.
