Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team and assist in customizing large language models to serve as copilots for operators in manufacturing operations. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team of AI experts and developers to develop and deploy innovative solutions that prioritize reliability and safety.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the AI engineering team to understand the specific requirements and challenges of manufacturing operations. Customize large language models to understand and interpret complex manufacturing data and processes. Develop algorithms and models to enable language models to assist operators in real-time decision-making and problem-solving. Conduct testing and validation to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and safety of customized language models. Assist in integrating customized language models into existing manufacturing systems and interfaces. Document the customization process, methodologies, and outcomes for future reference and improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled at in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Prior experience or coursework in AI, machine learning, or NLP is a plus.
