Job Description

Summary

As an IT Analyst in AP regional IT Team, you are part of Business Technology Management organization in providing effective IT Partnership and seamless IT Support across all Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific sites. You will be the liaison between global core IT Services (like EUX, Network, or Cloud/Hosting) and Business Units in meeting the growth of the business in the AP region. You are the face of IT acting as IT business partner for AP's core business domains include, but not limited to Manufacturing, Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain and others.

In your daily work you analyze and address business problems effectively, coordinate with internal and external IT service providers, support ITIL processes (INC/CHM/PRB), manage regional IT communication with the Business units (push & pull) and support IT project rollouts. Your previous client & infrastructure experience is vital for conducting POCs (proof of concepts), propose potential IT solutions in line with strategic IT roadmap, liaise with BU stakeholders from local users up to senior group leaders, ensure operational project execution and post go-live support intact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as IT business partner for IT capability teams & regional businesses

  • Coordinate and admin end to end regional IT communication channels

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand & document BU requirements

  • Support Regional and Global IT project rollouts in the AP region

  • Assist resolution of existing incidents and support troubleshooting problems according to agreed processes and SLAs

  • Support or coordinate IT operation maintenances/excellence for AP sites

  • Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related experience

  • Min 5 years related work experience in a global company (preferably in IT or Engineering department)

  • Good understanding of Manufacturing/Engineering processes and operations

  • IT Infrastructure knowledge fundamentals (hardware, data center, network)

  • Good understanding of O365 suite (SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams, OneNote, Power BI, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English, written and spoken

  • Based in Singapore

  • Open minded and willing to learn new technologies

  • Very strong analytical skills and troubleshooting mindset

  • Able to work effectively in busy and constantly changing environment
