Introduction
iRobot is looking for an eager student to join our Sales team! This position
is a full-time internship (M-F; 8AM-5PM) from June/July through December,
remote.
Responsibilities:
Product Audit
Review all distributor websites for accuracy of product assortment
Note any opportunities for online merchandising improvements and work with
sales team
Sales Tracking
Weekly sales tracking for all accounts: Analyze sales trends and review
on-hand inventory levels
Review OH inventory and update sales team with concerns
National promo tracking: YOY analysis and WoW trends
Dealer Portals
Access for sales results
New model set ups
Distributor support
Manage national promo planning/tracking files
Reseller communication – promotions, price moves, claim status
Reseller website audits
Events/Store Activities
Manage product samples
Help support FMR team with in-store activities, trade shows, and dealer
events
Assist channel marketing team with in-store merchandising updates
Competitive Analysis
Review dealer websites weekly for competing models and price points
Advertising Calendar
Maintain national ad grid across main dealers
Work with sales and channel marketing to coordinate digital marketing and
checkbook activities
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or
related field
Must have the ability to work 40 hours, Monday through Friday from July to
December (or ASAP if schedule permits)
Desire to build a career in sales or marketing
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
Excellent communications skills, strong judgement and professional
maturity
