The successful candidate will be leading a team of Systems Engineers to develop the next generation L2++ systems and , and other key partners. He/she will be responsible for the successful launch of L2++ for GM China specific vehicle platforms and scale its availability to more roads, customers, and available vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the L2++ capability development and implementation plan.

  • Lead the complete execution of L2++ capabilities end-to-end.

  • Provide regular key updates to the leadership to ensure synchronization and smooth flow of information.

  • Lead other system capability engineers by providing direction in all aspects of systems and capability development.

  • Provide technical leadership for advancing new technology development.

  • Become the technical Subject Matter Expert and single-point-of-contact for all things related to L2++.

  • Develop talent and expertise within the L2++ Systems Engineering team.

  • Qualifications

  • 8+ years of automotive systems engineering experience with at least 5+ years of developing ADAS.

  • Proven experience to lead multi-functional teams across domains.

  • Deep knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and a proven track record of successful implementation.

  • Experience in automotive product release and specification process.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software and hardware requirements and interfaces.

  • Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as AD/ADAS systems, chassis and vehicle dynamics, automotive networks, propulsion, body controls, infotainment (HMI) etc.

  • High level of oral and written communication skills.

  • Travel to engineering sites and supplier offices as required.
